Well it was an action packed night around the league, and a lot to cover, so let's get started:
LOS ANGELES vs. BUFFALO:
Sabres managed to hold onto a win, edging the Kings 3-2 in a shootout. This was the Sabre's first win at home this season, and they can thank, Ryan Miller. Sabre's were outshot, 45-17 and Miller came up huge, stopping 43 of them.
Cody Hodgson had a solid game, with 2 goals, and Matt Moulson with 2 assists. That line, Hodgson, Moulson, and Ennis was benched late in the third, questioning their motivation and dedication. Hopefully they pick it up. Johnathan Quick left late the in the third, after suffering a LBI. Looks like a hip flexor or his groin. No, i'm not saying that because the broadcasters said it, because I've played goalie, and I know the basic anatomy.

ISLANDERS vs. PREDATORS:
Islanders beat the Pred's, 3-1, and Kevin Poulin was in net again for his second straight start. He managed the win, stopping 32 of the 33 shots faced. He's started 4 of the last 6 games, and he's now 2-2-0 with an impressive 1.76 GAA, and .939 SV%.
John Tavares had 1 goal and an assist, giving him 22 points in 19 games. He's playing lightouts hockey right now. Kyle Okposo with a goal of his own, and Frans Nielsen, despite playing on the top line, has 21 points through the year with 2 assists last night.
COLUMBUS vs. WASHINGTON:
Caps rally to sink the Jackets, 4-3 in overtime last night. Ovechkin with the GWG and his 13th OT winner of his career, and also tallied an assist. John Carlson, and Mikhail Grabovski had 1 goal and 1 assist a piece, who both have picked it up as of late. Wouldn't be a bad add to your blueline if you were short on bodies, Carlson that is.
Brandon Dubinsky continuing his solid play, notching a goal and an assist, and Cam Atkinson with a nice little move to beat Holtby.

TAMPA BAY vs. MONTREAL:
Lightning start life without superstar, Steven Stamkos, and they pulled out a 2-1 shootout win against the Habs. Brett Connolly, replaced Stamkos on the top line but came up with nothing, but give the guy a break. He's suppose to be replacing one of the top centers in the world.
Ryan Malone had 1 goal, and Valtteri Filppula netted the shootout winner. Daniel Briere was back in the line up and managed to score in his debut back. Is it time to start regarding Ben Bishop, as an elite goaltender? With last night's 28 save performance, he now has a record of 12-2-0.
PHILADELPHIA vs. OTTAWA:
Philly, looking like they're turning the season around with a 5-0 win over the Senators last night. Jakub Voracek had 2 goals, and Giroux tallied 2 assists. Steve Mason, finally getting some support to make his stellar play worthwhile, getting the SO making 24 saves. Brayden Schenn and Lecavalier both had 1 goal and 1 assist a piece.
QUICK HITS:
There was a GM meeting last night, on the ballot were talks about: Goalie fighting, OT changes, and possibly limiting shootout appearances. Also, they're talking about bringing back the World Cup of hockey. Steven Stamkos's surgery went successfully, and is out indefinitely. I'm still trying to figure out how Ladd potted this one? Literally looks like there's maybe an inch of space, unreal accuracy.
